MUSIC VIDEO Swae Lee "Christmas at Swae's"

This Thursday, Swae was kind enough to share his holiday cheer, compensating for his brother Jxmmi's grimmer outlook on "Nothing for Christmas."

When you bunch  "Christmas at Swae's" together with Jxmmi's record in the right order, you get the complete Grinch experience from start to finish. But don't let the title fool you into thinking Swae is counting the minutes till it's appropriate to wear seasonal knits; he just wants to cash in on all the action going down under the numerous mistletoes he set up in his hedonistic haven.

In the official "Christmas at Swae's" music video, Swae Lee does his best Billy Joel impression with the Xmas lights on fleek. A simple piano roll allows him to shake up the chorus justs a little between refrains. He sings, "I didn’t have you under my tree this Christmas, but I had you all over wishlist," before breaking off into a stretch pattern of Ho ho hos. Also worth noting, Swae wore a shirt this time out, just to set a more serious tone.

Young Scooter Ft. Kodak Black "No Features"

Young Scooter Ft. Kodak Black "No Features"

Young Scooter doesn't need features, but that doesn't stop him from wanting them. Such is indeed the case on the Recipe highlight "No Features," which finds the Atlanta rapper linking up with Kodak Black. Of course, who can blame him, given Kodak's own ever-building momentum? In any case, Scooter acquaints himself favorably over the guitar-driven instrumental, riding the groove with finesse. The rapper's clever pan game is well appreciated, as he spits bars like "probably get a bonus everytime he fly in, all I do is work I'm a real Black Mexican.

Quotable Lyrics

I got rich n***a problems, and I gotta feed my people
I know that you got your connect, but all my work a little cheaper
Bought a truck load, all 65 back hands
Direct deposit, I don't ever see the front ends
Probably get a bonus every time he fly in
All I do is work, I’m a real black Mexican

Lil Wayne ft Ace Hood Pop "2 Mollys" In A Two-Tone Bugatti

"2 Mollys"  Lil Wayne pops up unexpectedly on a freshly surfaced Ace Hood track.
Ace Hood has done what many before him have failed to deliver: a consummate trance-rap record. Within the limits of experimentation or lack thereof, Ace has drawn us closer to the retrofuturistic outlook we did away with in the early 2010s. On "2 Mollys," he finds himself accompanied by an elusive figure he's worked with in the past, the inimitable Lil Tunechi.

"2 Mollys" is by all accounts an honest appraisal of what was, what is, and what will be for Ace Hood when enjoyed his peak levels of notoriety. Although there's little evidence to support this claim, I have reason to believe "2 Molly" is a B-side record that never saw the light of day at its inception. First off, "Molly" isn't exactly as popular a recreational drug as it was in say.. 2008. And if you listen closely, Lil Wayne even raps about his disinterest in the subject material, his preference, of course, a double cup stuffed of lucid dreaming.

Kizz Daniel Ft. Davido – One Ticket (Official Video)

Kizz Daniel has unleashed a cinematic visual for Davido aided “One Ticket“; the latest single off his anticipated sophomore album “No Bad Songz”.

Directed by Ovie; the emotive clip brings the Major Bangz produced viral hit to life, as Kizz Daniel and his colleague deal with the demons battling their respective dysfunctional relationships.

Jay Rock & Kendrick Lamar "Wow Freestyle" Music Video

Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock hit their old block in the "Wow Freestyle" music video.
Jay Rock is a few months removed from his latest album, Redemption. The project dropped in June and the Top Dawg veteran has been dishing out new visuals for the album ever since. He released the twin videos for his single, "Tap Out" with Jeremih earlier this month and now, he follows it with the visuals for "Wow Freestyle" with Kendrick Lamar.

Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar reflect on humbler days in their new music video for "Wow Freestyle." The track is one of two tracks K. Dot's featured on from the project aside from "King's Dead" with Future. The video, which was directed by Jack Begert, opens up with Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar hopping inside of Top Dawg's red Dodge Charger. The video shows clips of the rappers during their come-up and mobbing out on their old block. Jack Begert does a great job at highlighting Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar's come-ups in the game and their transformation since they rocked oversized jeans and fitted caps.

Jay Rock might be pushing out a whole lot of visuals for Redemption, but he revealed a few months after the album dropped that he's already eager to work on a new album. It feels like a 2019 release date is unlikely, but regardless, we're excited to hear what Jay Rock is gearing up to release in the future.

Future & Juice WRLD Drop Off The "WRLD On Drugs" Music Video

Juice WRLD & Future come through with their new music video for "WRLD On Drugs."
A few months ago, Juice WRLD and Future were spotted in the studio together. Although fans simply speculated that they were releasing a song together, it turned out that they collaborated on an entire project. With a 24 hour notice, Juice WRLD and Future released their album, WRLD On Drugs last Friday. While fans have been enjoying the project for the last week, the two artists dropped off three music videos for the album including for the title track.

Future and Juice WRLD explore addiction, the justice system's double standard and substance abuse in their new music video for "WRLD On Drugs." The video opens up with a clip of Young Thug breaking down his vices from women, diamonds, winning and more before a RIP message to Seth Firkins, Mac Miller, Lil Peep, Jimmy Wopo and more pop up on the screen.

"The key to growth is the introduction of a higher dimension of consciousness, and that can only happen when you're aware," a message reads across the screen before the song begins.

Aside from the video for the album's title track, Future and Juice WRLD also released music videos for "Realer N Realer" as well as the Cole Bennett-directed visuals for "No Issue."

Maxwell Taps Models For "Shame": Ode To Beauty

Maxwell came through for R&B fans with a new song and visuals to match. The music video stars models and actors Maria Borgess, Jeneil Williams, Achok Majak, Riley Montana, Sira Kant and Adonis Bosso.

Although the art can speak for itself, Maxwell expressed his vision clearly.

'We wanted to celebrate beauty. Specifically the beauty of Black women. Black women – Black people – don’t see themselves heralded as a standard of beauty nearly enough in the media, especially in entertainment, high fashion and art. It’s getting better, but we still have so far to go.

People of color have carried shame about our features, our hair, our bodies, our skin tone. As I said previously, this song is about removing the cloak of shame and opening up to love… including self-love and love of your culture.

So we decided to pay homage to another beautiful video, George Michael’s iconic 'Freedom'– but make it Black. The end result is gorgeous, powerful and stunning. This video is a love letter to my women of color. Feel no shame in your skin – you are beyond beautiful.'

"Shame," available on all streaming platforms, is Maxwell's third single off his upcoming studio album, "NIGHT."

NBA Youngboy, Kevin Gates & Quando Rondo Deliver "I Am Who They Say I Am

NBA Youngboy delivers the video for "I Am Who They Say I Am."
NBA Youngboy is comfortable letting the outside World base their perception of him around mere superficialities because deep down he knows where he stands on various issues, including his own self-worth.

The precocious Lousiana rapper teams with Kevin Gates and Quando Rando for "I Am Who They Say I Am," the latest video single to appear off of 4Respect 4Freedom 4Loyalty 4WhatImportant (say that twice as fast).

The video, replete with effects as minute as bullet punctuations, and little holographic imaging depicts YoungBoy in a series of predictable scenarios. He commences the video "narrative" with a mild bench press on his front lawn. The scene then cuts to a suspicious young woman rifling through her phone, all in the name of motley disobedience.

Quando Rondo, who sports the NBA chain as a graduated member of Youngboy's team, rocks his second verse, as does Kevin Gates to close out the video wearing his big brother "BB" chain.

Sosamann ft. Wiz Khalifa On "Ride Or Die"

Sosamann ft. Wiz Khalifa On "Ride Or Die

Sosamann and Wiz Khalifa reunite on "Ride Or Die."
Sosamann and Wiz Khalifa have worked together on numerous occasions in the past on some serious bangers. Today, the two reunite on their latest collaboration, "Ride Or Die."

Sosamann taps Wiz Khalifa for their latest collaboration, "Ride Or Die." Sosamann and Wiz Khalifa's latest collaboration was produced by Iceman Chamberlain. Sosamann opens up the track on hook duties before sliding into his first verse. Wiz then comes in on the last verse to close out the track.

Wiz Khalifa and Sosamann's chemistry on wax is undeniable. The two of them collaborated in the past on songs such as "Not The Vibe," Dp Beats' "All I Do Is Splash," "Bandz To Make" alongside Sauce Walka and "Best Life." "Ride Or Die" is another smash they have added to their catalog.

Aside from working with Wiz Khalifa, Sosamann had a major look after he featured on Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V. Many people were shocked to find the rapper appear on the pop-centric track "What About Me." The song's producer revealed that the song had two other versions - one featuring Drake, another with Post Malone - but Sosamann had his time to shine instead.

Quotable Lyrics
Tell me why you stack so much
Tell me why you grind for the rack so much
Why these fools lack so much
Why they say that they real but they act so much

T.I. & Young Thug Enjoy "The Weekend" At A Crazy Party

T.I. unleashes some new visuals from "Dime Trap."
At the beginning of the month, T.I. released his much-anticipated tenth studio album. Dime Trap features a few tracks that we've been expecting for a while, including the Atlanta rapper's collaboration with Young Thug. "The Weekend" was previewed a year ago and we hadn't gotten to hear the full track until a few days before Dime Trap arrived.

This year, T.I. has been re-establishing himself as the founder of trap music and he's making sure people don't misunderstand the subgenre as "one-dimensional" as he explains in the new video for "The Weekend."

Tip's collaboration with Young Thug and Swizz Beatz has just gotten some new visuals as T.I. and Thugger hit a wild party during their off days. The video is incredibly intricate too as you can see that a lot of thought was put into its creation.

In fact, it's more of a short film than a typical music video as there's a clear plot going on on the screen. "The Weekend" is not what some would call one-dimensional trap music. There are elements to the song and video that make it just as special as any other musical genre.

Take a look at the story, which was written by T.I., in the video above.

Estelle & Luke James Coalesce Beautifully On "So Easy"

Get lost in Estelle's "So Easy," featuring Luke James.
Estelle dropped off her third studio album Lovers Rock last month, marking her first full-length offering in six years since 2012's "All Of Me."

Notably, the sounds presented on the new effort are the ones closest to the British singer-songwriter, whose own background of Senegalese and Grenadian descent is heard loud and clear through soundscapes inspired by the Lovers Rock subgenre, a spin-off of reggae music, first found in London during the 1970s and 1980s.

"To me, it's the truest, Britishest version of me you're probably going to get," Estelle tells NPR. "This is my version of London, you know?"

The project, which is an anthology of the relationship between Estelle's parents, is host to plenty addictive cuts, as she recruits international mainstays like Maleek Berry, Chronixx, and Kranium for a little assistance. There are plenty of standouts to choose from, but for the purpose of this writing, we'll present to you the Luke James duet "So Easy."

Quavo, Cardi B & Madonna Form The New "Three Amigos" With "CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ"

The question is often raised; how much Cardi B smoke would the other Migos' members grit and bear if Offset wasn't there to lobby for her. I'll let you come to your own conclusions. The oddest collaboration on Quavo's debut solo project QUAVO HUNCHO feels like a lot a song arrangement decided over the flooziest of Thanksgiving dinners, with a brother reaching out to his in-law while the other people at the table were distracted elsewhere, allowing them to shake on the strangest of agreements while everyone's attention was on a slowly diminishing pile of mashed potatoes.

Yes, you've read correctly, the Migos have reached a point in their careers where collaborating with Madonna has become an amenable option. It's been said, Migos shot the video for "Narcos" in Madonna's mansion. Don't shoot the messenger.

MUSIC VIDEO : August Alsina Reimagines Kanye West On "Wouldn't Leave"

August Alsina's return to the game has arrived.
After teasing his return a few days ago, August Alsina has once again made his presence felt. His latest single "Wouldn't Leave" treads ground familiar to Ye fans, who likely recall Kanye West's emotionally reflective track. Naturally, Alsina covers different ground altogether, though the emotional weight remains present. Bringing forth a quick-spoken melodic delivery, Alsina paints the picture of a fractured relationship, imbuing his words with a notable sincerity. "No one could see the future how we started off," he sings, "they don't see how many times we tried to call it off."

While the instrumental borrows from its namesake, there are certainly enough distinguishing elements; for one, the percussion has changed from a pulsating digital drumline to a relaxed organic rhythm. Borrowing from PND's original melody, Alsina reinvents the chorus with a sense of intimacy Yeezy lacks, likely due to his overt appreciation for all things porn.

It's nice to see August Alsina back in the fold, and we hope this marks a steady stream of music from the young talent.

Quotable Lyrics

Leave me hanging after what we started
I know that you wouldn't hurt me,
Know that you would rather die than see me broken hearted
Solo taking losses
We knew to make it worth it there would be a cost

Phyno with Tekno on this new love song, 'Iwa'

Although it seems to be going unnoticed, Phyno has had quite the stellar run this year, delivering a consistently solid string of singles — from the infectious “Isi Ego” to the Wale-assisted “N.W.A”.

Now, the gifted rapper has teamed up with Tekno on another impressive single, “Iwa”.

Produced by Tspize — the beatsmith behind Davido’s iconic “Aye” —

“Iwa” is a love song that finds its stars operating at the peak of their respective powers, as Phyno seamlessly alternates between rapping in English and Igbo; while Tekno delivers one of his best-ever choruses.

On the track, Phyno and Tekno profess their love for their significant others, making promises and declarations about their futures together.

“You know say I can’t deny you my shawty oh/You’re always on top”, Phyno sings on the bridge, taking a break from rapping.

We’re not really sure how he’s pulling it off, but Phyno hasn’t dropped one weak song in the past year, and with “Iwa” joining the long list of strong singles he’s blessed us with so far, we really can’t wait for him to finally release his third studio album.

 Listen to “Iwa” below:

DJ KHALED FEAT. JUSTIN BIEBER, CHANCE THE RAPPER, & QUAVO – NO BRAINER

DJ Khaled drops the video for “No Brainer,” his collaboration with Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, and Quavo.

The blockbuster anthem gets an epic video, directed by Colin Tilley. In the clip, Khaled takes on the role of a video director. As he kicks back in his director’s chair on the Hollywood set, he leads his superstar cast and even takes a moment to salsa dance. Bieber eats a corndog while dancing against the palm tree backdrop, Quavo paints his female subject with a pigeon on his shoulder, and Chance throws a Great Gatsby-style party. And of course, Khaled’s son Asahd makes a cameo.
